NocPix Nite Pro D50R 8K Digital Imaging
The 8000 × 6000 sensor uses a 1.2 μm pixel size and operates at 60 Hz. This combination retains fine visual information while maintaining fluid image movement during observation and tracking. The Nite Pro digital imaging system provides colour viewing by day and continues operating as ambient light decreases. A Light+ image-processing algorithm dynamically manages imaging parameters in low-light conditions. The 3–36× magnification range allows the displayed image to be enlarged for closer inspection, while the sensor resolution helps preserve usable detail as digital magnification increases. Picture-in-picture mode can display a magnified central area separately from the main field of view.
Optical and Viewing System
The NocPix Nite Pro D50R 8K features a 50 mm F1.25 multi-coated objective lens forms the optical input, providing a relatively large aperture for available-light collection. Focus is controlled through a central thumbwheel, allowing adjustment without reaching around the objective bell. The viewing system uses a 1.03-inch AMOLED display with a 2560 × 2560 resolution. Its square format provides space for the live image, reticle and status information within the eyepiece view. Eye relief is 60 mm, with a 6 mm exit pupil and ±4 dioptre adjustment. The field of view measures 8.8° × 7.4°, equivalent to 15.4 × 13 m at 100 m.
Integrated Ranging and Ballistic Functions
The NocPix Nite Pro D50R 8K lens-integrated laser rangefinder measures distances out to 1200 m. Its optical axis can be adjusted so the emitted laser position and displayed range finding reticle correspond, reducing separation between the ranging and aiming references. The rangefinder supports single and continuous measurement modes, with configurable reticle and distance-display behaviour. Ballistic calculation uses entered rifle, ammunition and environmental parameters to provide holdover and correction references. Multiple ballistic profiles can be stored for different configurations. The laser is classified as a Class 1 consumer laser product. Range finding and ballistic information appear within the sight picture, avoiding reliance on a separate ranging device.
Power, Recording and Field Configuration
Power comes from a 3850 mAh internal battery and one replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery. The 18650 cell can be inserted in either orientation, simplifying replacement when visibility is limited. Manufacturer-specified operating time is at least six hours at 22°C, although Wi-Fi use and recording activity affect runtime. The Nite Pro scope includes 64 GB of internal storage, photo and video capture, microphone support and recoil-activated recording. Wi-Fi provides connectivity with the NOCPIX app for supported settings and file functions. The magnesium-alloy housing carries an IP67 rating and operates from -20°C to +50°C. Weight is 980 g without the replaceable battery.
